Keeping track of RSVP replies

The list updates itself as replies come in. What matters is reading the numbers correctly.

Where is the guest list in the app?#

What’s in the list#

Attending

Everyone who said they’re coming. Those who entered a name appear by name, those who didn’t appear as an unnamed attendance — both count toward the total.

Can’t make it

Everyone who said they can’t come.

Awaiting reply

People the invitation was sent to who haven’t answered yet.

Estimating your final headcount#

There’s a rule of thumb that holds up well: about half of the people who haven’t replied will come. For a rough estimate:

CalculationExample
Said “attending”90
Half of those awaiting reply40 awaiting → +20
Estimated attendance~110

Tracking it together with your partner#

If you make your partner a co-host, they can see the guest list too; you both look at the same list.

Do unnamed replies mess up the count?
No. The attendance counter works regardless of whether a name was entered; your total is always correct. Names only matter for things like the seating plan.
Do people I shared the link with myself show up in the list?
They appear once they reply. But because the system doesn’t know who you sent it to, they aren’t included in the “awaiting reply” count.
Can I share the list with the venue?
It’s better practice to strip out the phone numbers and give only names and numbers — your guests’ details are personal data.
Can I resend to the people who haven’t replied?
Yes, you can send to the same people again; each send comes out of your package.
Can my partner see the list too?
Yes. If you’ve made your partner a co-host, they have access to the same guest list.
