What is Vowlia and what can you do with it?
You’re getting married and the to-do list is long. Vowlia is an app that handles the whole invitation side of it for you.
The invitation side of a wedding usually ends up scattered across three places: the invitation gets printed, who’s coming gets tracked in a group chat, and the photos stay on whoever’s phone they landed on. Vowlia pulls all three together into one flow.
Four jobs, one app#
Makes the invitation
More than 100 ready-made templates. If none of them fit, you design your own in Vowlia Studio.
Delivers it
The invitation link goes out from Vowlia by SMS or WhatsApp to the people you pick from your contacts. You can schedule it for a later date.
Counts the guests
Guests reply from inside the invitation, and who’s coming lands in your list.
Collects the memories
Guests scan the QR card on the table and upload the photos and videos they took into a single gallery.
It has two sides#
| Mobile app | Vowlia Studio (web) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Creating invitations, sending, RSVP, gallery, payment | Designing an invitation from scratch |
| Where it runs | iOS and Android | Your browser — nothing to install |
| Where to find it | App Store / Google Play | studio.vowlia.com |
| Purchases | Made here | None — the design is transferred to the app |
You transfer the invitation you designed in Studio to the app using a QR code. More: moving your design to the app.
There’s no photographer in the system — your guests upload#
Vowlia has no separate upload flow for a photographer. The photos are uploaded by your guests themselves: they scan the QR card you put on the table, and upload the shots and videos they’ve just taken from the page that opens. You see everything on the gallery screen, remove anything you don’t want, and publish.
How many languages does it support?#
The app and the invitations are available in 21 languages: Turkish, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Polish, Croatian, Bulgarian, Greek, Russian, Indonesian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Arabic.
