How do guests upload photos and videos?

The warmest shots of the day stay on your guests’ phones. The QR card exists precisely to fix that.

What your guest does#

  1. Scans the code on the table

Their phone camera is enough; there’s no app to install.

  2. Lands on the upload page

An upload page made for your wedding opens.

  3. Picks photos and videos

They upload the shots they’ve just taken, or ones they choose from their camera roll.

  4. The upload finishes

Everything lands in your gallery, and you see it all on the gallery screen.

Capacity#

These limits are totals: everything all of your guests upload has to fit inside them. More: free vs premium.

Getting more uploads#

  • Remind people during the reception. Shots get uploaded while they’re fresh.
  • Put a card at the entrance too. Everyone arriving sees it.
  • Ask again the next day. Most guests go through their photos the following morning.
  • Don’t worry about the sorting. You see every shot and remove the ones you don’t want — so casting a wide net costs you nothing.
Can a guest delete a photo they uploaded?
Managing what’s been uploaded is down to you, and your co-host if you have one, from the gallery screen. More: managing the gallery.
Can they upload video?
Yes. Videos upload alongside photos and appear in the same stream in the gallery.
What if someone uploads something inappropriate?
You can delete it from the gallery screen. We’d recommend going through everything before you publish the gallery.
What happens when the capacity is full?
No further uploads are accepted. A premium invitation has ten times the capacity.
