How long are photos kept, and how do you download them?

⚠️ Read this before the wedding. There’s a limit on how long your photos are stored, and the download timetable is fixed.

The storage timetable#

  1. The wedding day

    Your guests scan the QR card and upload photos and videos.

  2. After the wedding: 1 month

    Your photos stay in the system for a month. During that time you manage the gallery, publish it, and download whenever you like.

  3. Then: 14 extra days

    At the end of the month you get another 14 days to download.

  4. When the time is up

    Anything not downloaded within those 14 days is deleted automatically.

How to download#

As a ZIP to your phone

Download all of the media to your phone as a single ZIP file from inside the app.

By link to your computer

Create a download link, send it to your computer, and download from there. Easier with large albums.

Can the period be extended?
The timetable is the same for every invitation. The safest thing is to download within the first week.
Does the gallery close once I’ve downloaded?
Downloading doesn’t close the gallery; it stays accessible until the time runs out.
I turned notifications off — will I still get reminders?
The reminders are sent as notifications. We’d recommend leaving notifications on in your account settings.
If I delete the app, do I lose my photos?
Removing the app doesn’t delete your photos; sign in again with the same account and you can reach them, as long as the time hasn’t run out.
